The CMT83089C is a high-reliability isolated half-duplex RS-485 transceiver engineered with CMOSTEK digital isolation technology, offering safety certifications across UL1577 (5kVrms for 1 minute), DIN VDE V 0884-11, CSA, and CQC. Designed for harsh industrial environments, it features extreme ±200kV/µs CMTI noise immunity, ±12kV IEC61000-4-2 contact ESD protection on the bus pins, true fail-safe receiver circuitry, and a 1/8-unit-load input impedance supporting up to 256 bus transceivers in a wide-body SOIC-16 footprint.
